Transcience: Levana is drawn to the enigmatic, otherworldly essence of nature, guided by the principle of impermanence—the understanding that all things are fleeting and clinging to them breeds only sorrow. Her spirit yearns for rebirth, seeing death as a gateway to alleviate suffering, while dreading the notion of everlasting stillness.
SYNOPSIS
Levana pursues the dark side of nature, in the supernatural universe that lies beyond the consciousness. The impermanence or change is an essential doctrine, since all things are temporary holding on to them is a futile effort that only leads to one end. All conditioned existence is, without exception, subject to change. Different states of mind and consciousness, the union of all in one soul searching to reincarnate. The pineal gland becomes visible in the human fetus after 49 days, Levanas soul disposes of the same amount of days to try to reincarnate. Levanas consciousness fears to disappear, it fears the eternal rest and only thinks of death as a transition of life, it believes that death provides the solution for ending the suffering. She only has 49 days and uses the pineal gland as a spiritual channel, and DMT dimethyltryptamine as a catalyst, to get the answers to her questions. The search to find the notion of insubstantiality is ceaseless.

The film's strength lies in its atmospheric depth, blending eerie visuals of nature’s shadowy underbelly with a metaphysical narrative. Levana’s use of the pineal gland as a spiritual conduit, amplified by DMT as a catalyst, introduces a unique pseudo-scientific angle that grounds the supernatural elements. However, the repetitive synopsis hints at a potential flaw: the film risks over-emphasizing its philosophical core, which could alienate viewers seeking a more dynamic plot. The 49-day deadline adds urgency, but the abstract search for ``insubstantiality`` may leave some audiences craving clearer resolution.

Levana’s Quest is a haunting, visually striking dive into impermanence and the supernatural. Following Levana’s 49-day quest for reincarnation via the pineal gland and DMT, the film blends eerie nature with deep philosophy. Its abstract focus may not suit all, but it captivates with its atmospheric depth.
